Complete Tennis - Bowral

Dear Complete Tennis Clients and Customers – Covid 19 Advice

For now, we have decided to keep the tennis centre open (subject to further advice from NSW Health) to provide students and players with a safe clean environment where they can enjoy tennis as a way of stress relief and encourage physical exercise. Tennis is in a unique position to provide the local community with a reduced risk and social sport that can support everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing. The current government advice is that those sports that can continue safely at community level should do just that to help people cope with what is happening.

1.        Attending tennis activities

·       Only people core to playing should attend tennis activities such as players, participants, coaches and operational personnel

·       Arrive and leave as close as possible to when you need to be there

·       Only one parent/guardian should accompany younger children where possible.

·       Please do not attend the centre if you have a cough or cold or feeling even mildly unwell

2.      Social distancing

Tennis holds a unique advantage as a sport because it requires no direct contact between players. You should:

·       Touch racquets instead of the regular pre or post match handshakes

·       Keep a minimum of 1.5 metres away from other people while watching or attending an outdoors tennis activity.

3.      Behaviours to protect against infection, you should:

·       Wash/sterilise your hands before and after you play and avoid touching your face while playing

·       Not share water bottles or food and bring your own full bottle

·       Cover your coughs and sneezes and dispose of any used tissue immediately

·       Be aware of what surfaces you touch.

·       Bring and use your own tennis racquets

At the centre we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting the clubhouse, pro-shop, bathrooms and coaching equipment at this time.
